The Treatment

Before the treatment I will send you a consultation form plus all the other information you need including GDPR and address. When we meet we can then have a chat about any concerns you have regarding your health or the treatment. This will enable me to gain a better understanding of your health so that I can tailor a specific treatment plan for you to ensure the best possible outcome from the session.

I will then ask you to remove your socks and shoes and ensure you are comfortable on the specialist reflexology chair.

A foot reflexology treatment lasts an hour including consultation and treatment. Please note, the first session will be 15 minutes longer to include the medical history consultation.

I will then use my hands to apply pressure to your feet whilst using a natural reflexology cream. Each session addresses all of the reflex areas, so the entire body is treated through the feet. Some areas of the feet may experience tenderness, which is usually worked out by the end of a session. Traditionally these areas are worked repeatedly until the tenderness abates. Usually, the areas can be cleared with good results and without discomfort.

After one or two treatments your body may respond in a very noticeable way. Most people note a sense of well-being and relaxation; however, sometimes people report feeling lethargic, nauseous or tearful, but this is usually transitory and it is part of the healing process. This tells us that the body is reacting in a positive way and is rebalancing itself.
